Booking terms and conditions

These Booking Conditions govern the provision of all public training courses.

Client confirmation

All courses bookings must be confirmed in writing and signed by an authorised representative of the client and accompanied by a Purchase Order.

Where a customer issues a purchase order to e-Academy Ltd of the subject matter of this Agreement or part thereof, the customer hereby acknowledges and agrees that the terms of such purchase order shall not apply and such purchase order shall be accepted by e-Academy Ltd for the sole purpose of referencing invoices.

Fees/charges

Fees quoted are for tuition only and exclude accommodation.

All training fees are subject to Value Added Tax, which applies to all course delegates attending courses in the UK regardless of country of origin, as the tax point is the location of the course.

Invoices are rendered and payable before the course commences.  e-Academy Ltd reserves the right to charge interest on late payments.  e-Academy Ltd reserves the right to deny access.

Cancellations

If a booked delegate cannot attend, a substitute delegate may attend in their place at no additional charge, with the provision that the replacement delegate is of a suitable level of experience and knowledge to attend the course in question.

A course booking is deemed to be definite once signed, written confirmation is received from the client.

Cancellation fees are applicable to specific courses booked, and then cancelled.  Any transfer to a later course date is counted as a postponement.  This applies to all circumstances outside e-Academy Ltd's control.

A course place may be cancelled with a 50% charge, providing notice is received at least 20 working days prior to the course commencement.  If, however, notice of cancellation is received less than 20 working days before the course start date, there is a 100% fee chargeable.

Postponements

A course place may be postponed with and admin charge, providing notice is received at least 20 working days prior to the course commencement.

If, however, notice of postponement is received 16-20 working days prior to course commencement a 25% charge is applicable.  If notice of postponement is received less that 15 working days prior to course commencement 100% charge is applicable.

The above postponement terms apply to the first 3 changes, thereafter regardless of notice, 100% fee applicable

Changes

e-Academy Ltd reserves the right to make any changes (including cancellations) to the courses advertised.  Similarly, the date, price or location may be changed from that published, in which case the client may be charged for any subsequent increase in costs.

Participation

Delegates should join a course aware of its challenging nature and must be prepared to undertake evening work, where applicable, and involve themselves actively and positively in all aspects of the course.

If a delegate behaves in a way, which is damaging to the quality of the course for other delegates, or has insufficient English language ability, he or she may be asked to leave the course, without refund, if no alternative solution is found.

Accommodation

Non Residential Courses

Hotel reservations are the responsibility of the client.  Details of local accommodation available can be sent out with the course confirmation.

Personal belongings

All personal belongings are the sole responsibility of the owner.  e-Academy Ltd cannot accept responsibility for any personal belongings at any course venue.

Liability

e-Academy Ltd shall not be liable for failure to perform its duties due to death, illness, accident, industrial dispute, third party default or any reason outside e-Academy Ltds reasonable control.

The customer accepts that it is their responsibility  to verify that courses booked are suitable for the requirements of delegates and that delegates have the necessary levels of competence to be able to achieve the course objectives.

Copyright

All rights reserved.  No part of the training material may be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system or transmitted in any form or by any means, electronic, mechanical, photocopying or otherwise, without prior permission in writing of the copyright owner.

Certain courses may contain material classified as "Microsoft Official Curriculum".  In such cases the participant shall use the material solely for the purpose of the e-Academy Ltd course in which they are provided.  The delegate and the client agree not to copy any such material.  The client is responsible for ensuring that delegates are made aware of the above two paragraphs.

e-Academy Ltd acknowledges all registered trade marks, trade marks and service marks.

Documentation

e-Academy Ltd regret that training and course documentation can be provided only to those who attend.

Vouchers

Vouchers and packages are valid for 12 months from date of signed booking form.
