If you're not already using Social Media Marketing to connect with customers and generate traffic to your website you may find you will soon be dropping down Google's rankings and potentially losing business. Social Media is now an essential part of the marketing mix.
Course Outline
'Social Media For Business' provides a practical introduction on why and where to use social networking platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube to make the biggest impact for you.
We will provide you with an introduction to social media covering The 4 Stages of the Social Media ROI Cycle.
Setting up, running and optimizing an effective social media campaign happens in four stages:
- Stage 1: 'Pre-Launch' Clients often have some form of Social Media presence already. Studies have found that this presence is disjointed and does not have a clear and coherent strategy. To move forward it is necessary to unify existing platforms, decide what is appropriate for the client and then rationalise accounts accordingly.
- Stage 2: 'Launch' 100% of the efforts are typically focused on launching 'the Big 4': LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
- Stage 3: 'Management' In Stage 3, approximately 60% of a company's focus is on 'the Big 4' (or 'the Big 4' plus more) and then more time devoted to creative and offer development, quantitative metrics (traffic, inbound links, 'likes', etc.) and on qualitative metrics (brand sentiment, surveys, polls, etc.).
- Stage 4: 'Optimization' Where the magic really starts to happen!
